Fun Run – Staggered Start Mass Finish

The Stirling Sports Auckland Half Marathon and 11km Run and Walk caters for the less serious runner/walker. Entrants start at 5 minute intervals from 7.00am.  Your start time is based on your estimate of how long it will take you to finish your selected distance.  This means you should be running or walking with people of a similar speed to you.  You might even meet new friends.

Start times are set so that all entrants finish at 10.30am.  So, if you will take 2 hours to finish the race, you start at 8.30.  Simple.  And as everyone finishes together we have a mass finish.

We do not record peoples times, but there are start and finish clocks so you can calculate your own finish time.  We have  Finisher’s Certificate that you can down load and complete as a  record of your achievement.

Half Marathon course measured as  21.16km. 11km course measured as  11.06km.
