The Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC) assay was developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to measure the ability of food to reduce the affects of the peroxyl free radical, the most abundant free radical found in our body. ORAC assay was used to test the Acai freeze-dried formula monavie uses, the results were literally off the chart.
